Being a family-focused city, it provides a number of schools for your kids to attend in the School District (#43). There are dozens of elementary schools to choose from and some excellent secondary schools. You'll also find plenty of post-secondary education options available to you in or nearby the city including Douglas College for vocational training, Simon Fraser University (SFU) and British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in nearby Burnaby.
